John Fraser’s New Restaurant Opens at Winthrop Center 

Vermilion Club, a new upscale restaurant and bar by chef and restaurateur John Fraser, officially opened on June 11 in Winthrop Center, downtown Boston’s tallest tower. 

The restaurant is named for the Dale Chihuly sculpture above the bar and will initially serve dinner, expanding to lunch, brunch, and happy hours. The Vermilion Club will offer a chophouse menu with steak, seafood, and 65 cocktails.  

Fraser’s other Winthrop Center eateries, collectively called The Lineup, include Ariana, Iris Mezze, Big Grin, Day Shift, and Gatto Pazzo. Fraser designed these flexible concepts to adapt to changing customer needs and office work patterns.
