John Conger Departs Colliers, Joins Avison Young
The Dallas office of Avison Young has hired John Conger as principal, effective immediately. Conger comes to Avison Young from Colliers International in Dallas, where he recently served as executive vice president. Conger is charged with building Avison Young’s landlord-representation service-line coverage across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Coming with Conger from Colliers is 38-year CRE veteran David Quisenberry, who takes the title of senior vice president, with a focus on landlord representation.
During his 30-year commercial real estate career, Conger helped negotiate more than $1 billion in lease and sales transactions, as well as playing a key role in the development of more than five million square feet of office space in the Dallas area. He had been with Colliers since 2015; he previously had founded and ran his own company, CASE Commercial Real State Partners, which he sold to Colliers. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University.
