Joel English Departs Siterra, Launches Texas CRES

Five Houston brokers, led by industry veteran Joel English, left Cypress, TX-based Siterra Properties to form Texas Commercial Real Estate Services, or Texas CRES. The new firm is focused on office, industrial and retail deals. English, who was president of Siterra at the time of his departure, is involved with land deals in all industries.

Though the firm’s geographic base is northwest Houston, English said the new company is also handling deals in Channelview (southeast Houston) and Huntsville (north Houston). English said the long-term plan is to expand Texas CRES throughout the Lone Star State.

Siterra CEO Jeff Spann said the split was amicable; in fact, Texas CRES and Siterra continue to share office space at 11020 Saathoff Dr. in Cypress.
