Joe Vargas Joins Colliers in Key SoCal Leadership Role

Colliers International named Joseph M. Vargas senior managing director for its Greater Los Angeles Region. Vargas, whose CRE career spans three decades, will serve as the firm’s leader for four key markets, including the Inland Empire, South Bay, City of Commerce and City of Industry.

Colliers’ Hans Mumper said, “Joe brings to Colliers both the tangible management skills necessary to oversee the diverse range of brokers and market sectors we serve, as well as the intangible skills to motivate, coach and bring out the best in our expanding number of professionals.”

Vargas, one of the industry’s most respected, experienced and recognizable senior executives, will be responsible for driving Colliers’ strategic growth in a major U.S. market, focusing on new business, as well as talent acquisition and retention. He previously served as the president of Cushman & Wakefield’s West Region, and as an executive vice president with Lee & Associates.

Dennis Kaiser is Vice President of Public Relations and Communications for Connect Creative. Dennis has also worked on communications and launch strategies for a number of consumer electronic, media and tech brands including SlingMedia, Channel Master, Deluxe Media Entertainment, BeIn Sports, EchoStar and Sprint. Dennis’s agency background included firms such as Off Madison Ave., Idea Hall and Macy + Associates. He has earned an outstanding reputation with organization leaders as a trusted advisor, strategic program implementer, consensus builder and exceptional collaborator. Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private. He’s successfully worked with journalists across the globe representing clients involved in major-breaking news stories, product launches, media tours, and company news announcements.
