Job Growth, Unemployment Fall in Oregon

For the past couple of years, the Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro, OR-WA MSA has been a place to watch, thanks to exceptional job growth.

However, recent statistics from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) pointed out that both state and MSA job growth dropped year over year. Also dropping? Unemployment. So, while fewer jobs are being added, fewer people are also unemployed, as shown in this chart.
