JNR Management Takes Ownership of Marriott-Branded Hotels in Framingham, Norwood

Newton, MA-based JNR Management, Inc., has acquired the 125-key Residence Inn Boston Framingham and the 96-key Residence Inn Boston Norwood/Canton. The properties are Marriott-branded extended-stay hotels in the Boston, MA area, and the buyer has retained the brand for both hotels under a long-term franchise agreement with Marriott International, Inc.

Alan Suzuki and Matthew Enright of JLL represented the seller, APEX Capital Investments Corporation.

The new owner has plans to renovate the hotels with a refresh of guest rooms and baths, aesthetic updates of common spaces and enhancements to the exterior.

The hotel in Framingham is 25 miles west of Boston at the intersection of Interstate 90 and Route 9. The Norwood location is 23 miles southwest of downtown Boston and 29 miles Northeast of Providence just off Route 1. Both locations benefit from their positions near local corporations which generate lodging demand.

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
