JLL’s Patrick Shields Relocates to Join Boston Team

JLL Capital Markets announced the relocation of managing director Patrick Shields from its Chicago office to partner with managing director Scott Carpenter and strengthen the firm’s Boston commercial investment sales and advisory team. Shields joined JLL in 2019 as part of the HFF acquisition.

Throughout his career, Shields has been involved in more than $10 billion in investment sales and advisory transactions, primarily focused on office and life sciences assets. He’s achieved industry recognition as Investment Broker of the Year from the Greater Chicago Food Depository in 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2022 and was also part of the team awarded NAIOP’s Office Investment Transaction of the Year in 2018, 2021 and 2023

“Pat’s addition to our Boston team is in response to the momentum we’re seeing in our office investment sales and advisory platform,” said Chris Angelone, senior managing director and co-head of JLL’s Boston Capital Markets team.
