JLL Team Sells Stamford Offices for SL Green

JLL closed the $23.1-million sale of 1010 Washington Boulevard, a Class A office building totaling 148,000 square feet in downtown Stamford, CT. A JLL Capital Markets team represented the seller, SL Green Realty Corp., and procured the buyer, New England Investment Partners, LLC.

1010 Washington Boulevard comprises two interconnected buildings, an 11-story Tower Building featuring parking on floors one through five, and a three-story Plaza Building. It’s strategically positioned in Stamford’s CBD, just minutes from the Stamford Town Center and within walking distance of Metro-North rail service into Manhattan along with more than 450,000 square feet of retail and entertainment amenities.

The JLL Capital Markets team representing SL Green included Jose Cruz, Steve Simonelli, Kevin O’Hearn, Michael Oliver and Ryan Robertson. The REIT previously announced that it would use proceeds from the sale to partly fund the acquisition of a loft-style office building in Midtown Manhattan.
