JLL has appointed David Carlos as vice chairman and head of nonprofit, education, and government practice. He will be joined by colleagues, Andrew Dzenis, who will serve as Managing Director, and Rekha Pednekar as Associate. The team previously worked at Savills and will be based in JLL’s Manhattan headquarters. 

David Carlos, a three-time REBNY Ingenious Dealmaker winner, brings extensive experience in complex real estate transactions. His prior work includes collaborating with prominent organizations such as Weill Cornell Medicine, Jewish Theological Seminary, CUNY, New York Public Library, and KIPP Charter Schools. 

Andrew Dzenis, who joined Savills in 2018, has quickly risen to the rank of managing director due to his strategic planning skills and ability to overcome transactional challenges. Rekha Pednekar, a Fordham Gabelli School of Business graduate, joined Carlos’ team in 2021, quickly becoming a trusted real estate advisor.
