JLL Tapped to Lease 1700 West Loop South
Lingerfelt Commonwealth Partners assigned leasing duties of 1700 West Loop South in Houston to JLL. The 272,941-square-foot office property, also known as Burns & McDonnell Plaza, is 85% occupied. Leasing efforts will be led by Scott Fikes, who joined JLL from Avison Young earlier this month.
Fikes is no stranger to the Class A office building, which delivered in 1976 and was renovated in 2013. Local media pointed out that Fikes had the leasing assignment with Avison Young’s Doug Pack and Sam Hansen. When he moved to JLL, the asset came with him. Lingerfelt Commonwealth acquired the property, its first Houston buy, in July 2017 for $52 million from Bridge Investment Group Partners.
