Law firm moves to Ybor City, boosts Casa Carbonell occupancy to 100 percent

JLL Secures New 13,700 SF Lease at Casa Carbonell in Tampa’s Ybor City

JLL has announced law firm McIntyre Thanasides Bringgold Elliott Grimaldi Guito & Matthews, P.A has taken 13,700 square feet of space at Casa Carbonell. The 23,880-square-foot office building is located at 1228 East 7th Ave. in the historic Ybor City of Tampa Bay, FL. The move is expected to be completed by Fall 2023 and will bring the office building to full occupancy.

The JLL brokerage team of Jim Moler, Executive Vice President, Lisa Coulter, Vice President, and Pearlita Price, Associate, represented the building’s ownership, Darryl Shaw’s Casa Ybor. The tenant was represented by Amy Cox, Senior Vice President, and Thomas Grandoff, Director of Brokerage Services, with The Mahr Company.

Casa Carbonell, formerly New Urban Suites, is a four-story, LEED-certified boutique office building. It is part of Casa Ybor developments, a series of mixed-use properties comprised of historic office and retail spaces, warehouse spaces, and contemporary apartment homes.

About Angela Noote

Angela Noote is a native of Northern California and graduated from Chico State with a degree in public relations. After college she moved to the Central Coast and worked first in ad sales then in editorial, eventually spending more than a decade as a print reporter and editor. She detoured into design work at a printer/publisher, and with a partner eventually opened a boutique full-service marketing agency. Moving into corporate communications, she built and managed several successful marketing teams in the hospitality, financial services, and nonprofit industries. Most recently she was an internal comms manager in the tech sector. After a long stint spent in Georgia (Go Dawgs), she moved to Baton Rouge, LA and has written for clients in the financial, luxury imports, higher ed, commercial cleaning, and medical equipment industries. Her son is a media arts major at the University of South Carolina, and her husband owns a comedy theater in Baton Rouge, where you can often find Angi teaching improv classes, leading corporate training events, or doing an occasional stand up set.
