JLL Secures $40M Refinancing for Multifamily in Portland’s Lloyd District

JLL has secured a $40.5 million refinancing for The Payton, a 162-unit multifamily property in Portland, Oregon.

JLL represented the borrower, ColRich, in arranging the five-year, floating-rate loan through Prime Finance. The Payton, located at 2020 NE Multnomah St., is a seven-story mid-rise community built in 2019. JLL Capital Market’s Debt Advisory team was led by Senior Managing Director Aldon Cole, Managing Director Jimmy Conley, Directors Brock Knapp and Sean O’Brien, and Analysts Ben Choromanski and Matthew Payamps.

The property sits at the confluence of Portland’s Central Eastside and Lloyd District, two of the metro area’s most centrally located urban submarkets, with over five million square feet of retail within one mile. The property maintains 98% occupancy as of August 2026. “The successful refinancing of The Payton demonstrates the positive momentum in Portland’s multifamily market and the quality of ColRich’s long-term ownership strategy,” said Cole.
