JLL Promotes Caruso to Managing Director for Retail Advisory

JLL has promoted Peter Caruso to managing director for the retail advisory team in Chicago. Caruso will be responsible for the administration and management of retail brokers and provide strategic planning and evaluation of merchandising and redevelopment of properties.

“Peter has been an integral member of the retail advisory committee for years at JLL and his performance was significant despite the challenges 2020 brought,” said EVP Walter Wahlfeldt. “Given his exceptional performance, this promotion, which is more of a recognition of his success rather than a new role, comes well-deserved and I’m looking forward to watching his continued growth.”

In addition to his professional success, Caruso is heavily involved in the surrounding community and is an active participant in several philanthropic organizations including the Chicago Help Initiative. He is also a mentor for the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation’s annual Real Estate Challenge.
