JLL/NKF Team Secures Montessori Leases Uptown

JLL and NKF have represented Higher Ground Education (HGE) in two new leases totalling more than 27,000 square feet in Northern Manhattan. HGE, which provides Montessori education through multiple brands, committed to spaces on the Upper East and Upper West Sides that will house the first Polis World School campuses.

The tenant signed leases for Mandarin Immersion Montessori schools at 12 E. 79th St., where it will occupy 16,200 square feet, and at 775 Columbus Ave., where it will occupy 10,976 square feet. The East 79th Street school is scheduled to open this month; the Columbus Avenue facility will open a year from now.

Nick Carey of JLL in Orange County, CA and Jordan Gosin of NKF in New York represented HGE. JLL is currently looking for space for additional HGE schools in major U.S. markets, as well as in Vienna, Budapest and China.
