JLL Names Company Veteran to CFO Role

JLL has appointed Karen Brennan as CFO, effective July 15. Chicago-based Brennan, CEO of LaSalle Europe, succeeds Stephanie Plaines, who is leaving JLL for personal reasons.

As CEO for LaSalle Europe, Brennan had overall responsibility for business strategy across six offices managing approximately $22 billion in assets under management. Prior to that, she oversaw $9.5 billion of assets under management as the head of Americas custom accounts.

“Karen has excelled across a variety of roles in her two decades with JLL, and I am confident that her diverse global experience and understanding of our business will be invaluable as we navigate the current economic environment and position JLL for future growth,” said CEO Christian Ulbrich.

Additionally, Ulbrich thanked Plaines “for her leadership as CFO, particularly the integration of HFF, the largest acquisition in our history, through the recent financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and for ensuring a smooth transition.”
