JLL Income Property Trust Invests in Pair of Boston-Area MFs

JLL Income Property Trust formed a joint venture with Nordblom Company to invest in The Tremont and The Huntington apartment communities in Burlington, MA, a suburb 15 miles northwest of downtown Boston. Nordblom recently developed the two Class A apartments, which combined total 297 units.

JLL Income Property Trust’s Allan Swaringen says, “Burlington has seen no new apartment construction in 10 years, putting these two luxury communities in a class by themselves.”

The properties are located in Northwest Park’s amenity-rich mixed-use development courting Boston’s highly-educated millennial workforce. The site is off of Interstate 95 and Route 3, providing easy access to “America’s Technology Highway,” the Route 128 corridor that hosts the largest concentration of tech jobs outside of Silicon Valley.

The highly amenitized, luxury apartments were designed to attract a renter by choice demographic, and feature hardwood flooring with carpet in bedrooms, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washers and dryers and nine foot ceilings.
