JLL Hires Matt Betterman from Newmark as SVP

Matt Betterman has joined JLL’s Seattle tenant representation team as senior vice president, helping companies with their office space needs throughout the Puget Sound Region with an emphasis on the downtown Seattle market. He specializes in strategic real estate planning for a diverse client base, from tech startups to professional service firms.

Prior to joining JLL, Betterman held roles with Newmark and Colliers International, specializing in tenant representation. A Mercer Island resident with over a decade of experience in the Seattle region, Betterman has assisted a wide range of companies with their real estate research, strategic planning, and implementation, including relocations, renewals, subleases, and expansions.

Betterman is a licensed real estate broker in Washington state and a member of the Commercial Brokers Association and Washington State Commercial Association of Realtors. He’s also a board member of the Boys and Girls Club Mercer Island and the Washington Athletic Club.
