JLL Grows Retail Portfolio with Three Assets, Adds 10 Team Members

JLL expanded its retail property management footprint with the addition of 10 employees of The MGHerring Group, as well as three retail assets to its portfolio. The MGHerring Group CEO Gar Herring, joins JLL as SVP, Retail Development, and the general managers, accountants and operations managers at the assets will now become part of JLL.

The firm will now manage, develop and maintain tenant coordination on the more than 1-million-square-foot Silver City Galleria in Taunton, MA, and the 515,000-square-foot Market Street at Heath Brook in Ocala, FL (pictured); and develop and maintain tenant coordination on the 784,200-square-foot Golden Triangle Mall in Denton, TX.

JLL’s Greg Maloney says, “Over the past 35 years, The MGHerring Group has developed more than 30 major shopping centers and regional malls. Gar has been in the retail business his whole life, and brings an extensive background in real estate development, acquisition, leasing and financing to JLL.”

Dennis Kaiser is Vice President of Public Relations and Communications for Connect Creative. Dennis’s agency background included firms such as Off Madison Ave., Idea Hall and Macy + Associates. He has earned an outstanding reputation with organization leaders as a trusted advisor, strategic program implementer, consensus builder and exceptional collaborator. Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private.
