JLL Finalizes Sale of New Haven Apartment Portfolio

JLL Capital Markets has secured the $20.6-million sale of Campus View & Traymore Apartments, a historic 126-unit portfolio in New Haven, CT. Senior managing director Steve Simonelli, managing directors Henry Schaffer, Jon Bryant and John Flaherty and analyst Anthony Nakhle worked on behalf of the seller, C.A. White. The buyer was CSRE Group.

“JLL ran a competitive process which ultimately procured several offers varying from portfolio bids to single-asset offers,” said Simonelli. “CSRE Group was ultimately chosen given their portfolio offer and aggressive pricing, demonstrating continued investor confidence in the New Haven multifamily market.”

This is the second transaction that JLL secured on behalf of C.A. White. The Capital Markets team also arranged the sale of Centerpointe Apartments to The Simon Konover Company. The 83-unit multifamily community, located at the corner of Church Street and Chapel Street in Downtown New Haven, sold for $20.25 million this past January.

Campus View Apartments, located at 84 Howe St., was originally built in 1925 and features 77 units. Built in 1920 and located at 120 Dwight St., Traymore Apartments offers 49 units.
