JLL Closes Sale of Boutique Hotel in New Hampshire Capital City

JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group finalized the sale of The Centennial Hotel, a 32-room Victorian-era boutique hotel located at 96 Pleasant St.t in downtown Concord, New Hampshire’s capital city. Senior managing director Alan Suzuki represented the seller, Sparta Properties, with John Linell serving as JLL’s New Hampshire broker of record for the transaction. Lord Hotels acquired the asset. The sale price was not disclosed.

Built in 1898 and converted to a hotel in 1996, The Centennial Hotel sits on 1.85 acres along Pleasant Street. Between 2023 and 2024, ownership completed comprehensive capital improvements. The property serves New Hampshire’s most concentrated business and medical district.

“We continue to see high-net-worth individuals and families gravitating toward boutique hotel acquisitions, particularly assets with strong stories and strategic locations like The Centennial Hotel,” said Suzuki. “This Victorian-era property offered an ideal combination of recent capital improvements, unencumbered operations and immediate upside through hands-on management and food & beverage optimization.”
