JLL Brokers $49M Sale of D.C. Apartment Property

JLL has arranged the $49 million sale of The Shaw, an apartment community in the Northwest Washington D.C. area.

The Shaw is located nearby the Logan Circle, U Street Corridor and Bloomingdale neighborhoods as well as restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Units feature open layouts, city spa bathrooms with frameless glass showers and chef-caliber kitchens. Amenities consist of a rooftop terrace, lounge and private balconies.

Walter Coker, Brian Crivella and Robert Jenkins of JLL represented the seller, Monument Realty, in the transaction. The buyer was a joint venture between Shimizu Realty Development and Capital Security Advisors LLC.
