JLL Arranges UWS Relocation for Shefa School

JLL represented the Shefa School in a full-building relocation to approximately 75,000 square feet at 17 W. 60th St. on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

The Shefa School is a Jewish community day school serving students in grades 1 through 8 who benefit from a specialized educational environment to address learning challenges. The organization has completed a 99-year ground lease and has signed an agreement to convey a leasehold condominium interest for 75,000 square feet with owner Extell Development Company.

Shefa was represented by JLL vice chairmen Mitchell Konsker and Matthew Astrachan, executive managing director Daniel Posy and VP Peter Michailidis, along with vice chairman Joseph Messina and VP Jason Seidenberg with JLL’s New York Consultancy/Advisory Group.

“This new space will enable Shefa to expand its enrollment as it continues to empower students to become lifelong learners and critical thinkers,” said Astrachan.
