JLL Appoints Christian Ulbrich CEO; Collin Dyer to Retire
Jones Lang LaSalle announced the appointment of Christian Ulbrich to the position of Chief Executive Officer, effective Oct. 1. Ulbrich will succeed Colin Dyer, who will step down from the role on Sept. 30. Dyer will retire from the company at the end of 2016. Ulbrich has been JLL’s President since June 2016.
Ulbrich will oversee JLL’s strategic direction and growth. He will report to the company’s Board of Directors, on which he serves as an executive member. He will also chair the company’s Global Board.
“The Board of Directors is very grateful for Colin’s extraordinary leadership and service to JLL over the past 12 years,” said Sheila Penrose, Chairman of the Board. Penrose noted that Dyer and the Board have been working on a “comprehensive and robust succession process, culminating in Christian’s selection as CEO.”
