Jimmy Board Comes on Board with Colliers
Commercial real estate veteran Jimmy Board recently joined Colliers as managing director. In the new role, Board will focus on debt and equity transactions nationwide and across asset classes.
He brings more than 15 years of experience to Colliers, most recently serving as managing director at JLL, where he was instrumental in the strategic global and national integration of the real estate investment banking group into the overall capital markets platform. During the course of his career, Board has advised a wide range of commercial property owners and investors on capital needs and completed in excess of $25 billion worth of transactions.
He is the latest in a line of several significant additions at the firm including managing directors Peter Nicoletti in New York and Frank Petz in Boston.
“As we begin to put the pandemic in our rearview, I can’t think of a better place to be than Colliers,” said Board. “I see a lot of opportunities. One particular sector where I’m optimistic is retail. We’ve seen better than 85 percent rent collection in many regions across the country. As people emerge from lockdowns and desire their pre-pandemic experiences, we think retail is going to experience a bit of a resurgence.”
