Jewel Box Office Building Trades in San Francisco’s Jackson Square

Colliers arranged the sale of a 110,000-square-foot Class A office building located at 500 Washington St. in San Francisco’s Jackson Square submarket. The sale price was not disclosed.

EVPs Bob Gilley, Kevin Moul, Andy Zighelboim, Brad Idleman and Scott MacIntyre and VP Michaela Lalanne finalized the transaction on behalf of the seller, The Public Policy Institute of California. Peter Mugford, Megan Campbell and Alex Palmisano of Revise Group served as consultants to the seller. The buyer was Brick & Timber Collective.

“500 Washington is a phenomenal jewel box building that brings immense value to the Jackson Square submarket,” the Colliers team said in a statement. “Built in 1982, the building is situated on a high-identity corner location due to its proximity to an iconic San Francisco landmark, the Transamerica Pyramid. We are thrilled to have bridged our two clients and guided both parties to an agreement.”
