Jerusalem Venture Partners to Expand in New York through Cyber NYC Initiative
Several international technology companies, including Jerusalem Venture Partners, now plan to expand in New York City. It’s part of the city’s “Cyber NYC” commitment to grow New York City’s cybersecurity industry, to help create over 10,000 high-quality jobs in the next 10 years.
“We are aggressively pursuing cybersecurity leaders from around the world to come to New York City and create good jobs,” said James Patchett of New York City’s Economic Development Corp. (NYCEDC), who recently spoke at Cybertech TLV, a cybersecurity industry convening held in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Jerusalem Venture Partners, an Israel-based investment firm, recently announced a new $1 million competition, New York Play, focused on bridging innovation and entrepreneurship between New York City and Israel. Other tech companies expanding in New York include Intezer, a malware analysis and detection startup, and D-ID, a company which developed an AI software which protects identities from face recognition technologies.
