Jersey Village OKs Plans for $145M Massive MXU Project
The Jersey Village City Council inked an agreement with Houston developer Collaborate LLC for a 43-acre, mixed-use project dubbed Village Center. The proposed $145-million development is part of Jersey Village Crossing, a 274-acre parcel that the city established as a Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone to spur commercial development.
Plans for the development include retail, office and hotel, as well as high-end multifamily, a parking garage and a new location for Jersey Village City Hall. The Village Center buildout is estimated to take three-to-four years. Page is the architect of record, and Greatland Co. will handle leasing and property management. SWA Group is heading up urban planning and landscape architecture.
Village Center will be south of U.S. 290 and Jones Road, on the northwest edge of the Houston MSA.
