Jefferson Apartment Group Tapped to Manage Fairfax Apartment Property

Multifamily developer and operator Jefferson Apartment Group (JAG) has been tapped by Combined Properties to manage the residential component of the mixed-use development Scout on the Circle in Fairfax, VA.

Developed by Combined Properties, the 400-unit apartment community is situated at the intersection of Route 50 and Route 29 and is nearby the Orange Line Metro. The community consists of two buildings with a suite of resort-style amenities, including two outdoor courtyards, a hotel-inspired swimming pool, work-from-home space, a lobby lounge and garage parking. Additionally, the project features 83,000 square feet of retail space, including a Giant Food as well as on-site cafés, restaurants and shops.

“JAG has built a long-standing reputation as a real estate investor and developer but in fact, 60% of our portfolio is third-party management, making Scout® on the Circle an ideal opportunity for us to continue to grow our footprint in the D.C. metro area,” said Jim Butz, president and CEO at Jefferson Apartment Group.
