James Center in Tacoma Sells for $31M
Phoenix-based Vestar has acquired the 140,240-square-foot James Center in Tacoma, WA from Inland American Real Estate Trust. The buyer paid $31.4 million to the Chicago seller for the center, which sits on approximately 16 acres.
According to Clint Marchuk, Vestar’s Vice President of Acquisitions, the center is in an infill area with good population and workforce numbers.
The property is at 6901 S. 19th St., across from Tacoma Community College. Tenants include Fred Meyer, Rite Aid, Starbucks Coffee, Subway, Verizon, Menchie’s, U.S. Bank, IHOP, FedEx, Kinko’s and Ivar’s.
