Jair Lynch, Nuveen Acquire 587-Unit Multifamily in Langley Park
Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners and Nuveen Real Estate have acquired Bedford Station and Victoria Station, a 587-unit garden-style naturally occurring affordable housing community in the Hyattsville, MD neighborhood of Langley Park.
Transwestern served as the seller’s broker in this transaction. CBRE served as purchaser’s financial advisor, and Nixon Peabody served as transaction counsel for purchaser.
The purchase marks Jair Lynch and Nuveen’s seventh acquisition within the DVM intending to advance their goals of preserving housing affordability while uplifting and revitalizing communities through investment in high-quality, sustainable neighborhood assets.
The 1950-constructed property consists of 35 two-story and three-story garden-style buildings located near the University of Maryland and downtown Hyattsville. It is accessible to major job nodes at the University of Maryland, Silver Spring, Bethesda, and DC.
