J.C. Anderson Handling Renovations at Willis Tower’s Metropolitan Club

J.C. Anderson Inc. has been selected by Dallas-based ClubCorp to complete renovations to The Metropolitan, a 40,000-square-foot club located on the Willis Tower’s 66th and 67th floors. The project entails adding a bar and lounge, a collaborative work area that transforms into a cocktail bar at night, and an upscale dining area that will honor Chicago’s architectural heritage.

Project executive Joe Maguire is leading the construction team for J.C. Anderson, which also includes Michael Dunn and Greg Wysocki. Gonzalez Architects is providing architectural services.

The club, which also hosts private events such as weddings, parties and corporate meetings, will remain open during the renovations. Construction is scheduled for completion later this year.
