500 Acres Near San Bernardino Airport Eyed for Development
Connect Industrial is headed to Chicago, June 28th. Here’s where to get more details and register.
The Inland Valley Development Agency (IVDA) is considering development plans for 500 acres near the San Bernardino International Airport. The agency that oversees commercial development in the area is exploring how to maximize jobs and economic development in that corridor.
The narrow 3-block rectangular swath of land stretches from the 210 Freeway on the east to Tippecanoe Avenue on the west. Potential uses are being sought to complement and support the solid base of logistics and transportation related operations at the airport. A plan with land use options is being prepared and expected to come out in six months.
In addition to the IVDA, stakeholders involved in coming up with a plan for land are the cities of San Bernardino and Highland, the East Valley Water District, as well as the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.
