Ivanhoé Cambridge Claims Inland Empire Site for $450M Logistics Complex
Ivanhoé Cambridge acquired two strategically-located parcels of land in Ontario, CA from CapRock Partners. The Canadian firm plans to develop a more than $450-million logistics complex called Colony Commerce Center, with the initial two phases encompassing 11 Class A industrial buildings.
Ivanhoé Cambridge’s Mario D. Morroni says, “We strongly believe that Colony Commerce Center will allow us to capitalize on the growing demand for rental space by offering modern industrial facilities in one of the best U.S. logistics markets.”
The entire project will consist of nearly three million square feet of of modern leasable space, and offer a variety of building sizes, ranging from 600,000 square feet to one million square feet.
Ivanhoé Cambridge selected CapRock Partners to develop the project on its behalf. CBRE National Partners West’s Darla Longo and Barbara Emmons Perrier helped facilitate the transaction.
