Issaquah Apartment Complex Bought in Massive Deal
Timbers at Issaquah Ridge, an apartment complex in Issaquah, Washington, has sold for $135.5 million.
New York-based Sterling Investors bought the property at 23425 SE Black Nugget Road, in one of the largest transactions in King County so far this year, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal. The seller is Denver-based Simpson Housing.
Timbers offers one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments and townhomes. Community amenities include an upgraded resident lounge, playground, and lounge. The 337-unit property features walk-in closets, washers and dryers, and private patios or balconies.
Simpson Housing acquired the 34-building walk-up complex in two phases shortly after its construction in 2000 and 2001, paying a total of $22.5 million for the 16.5-acre property.The property was developed by Bellevue-based Wakefield Homes. Simpson Housing owns five other apartment complexes in the Puget Sound region.
