Irvine Company Tallies More Than 1.8M SF of Office Leases in OC

Irvine Company on Monday announced strong leasing activity in Orange County since July 1, with more than 1.8 million square feet of office space leased to leading companies across multiple industries in both new leases and renewals. The largest deal during this time frame was the 173,000-square-foot commitment by JPMorgan Chase at Jamboree Center in Irvine.

“The leasing momentum we’re experiencing across our Orange County portfolio demonstrates the strong demand for high-quality workplaces backed by a landlord able to meet the evolving needs of the market,” said Roger DeWames, president of Irvine Company Office Properties.

The company also announced a $17-million transformation of Jamboree Center in Irvine. The reinvestment includes plans for a new amenity hub, including a two-story KINETIC fitness center, the first of its kind in Irvine Company’s Orange County portfolio, and a new venue for meetings and events that will have direct connection to the outdoor workspace at 3 Park Plaza.
