Irvine Co. Expands San Diego Team to Continue 1.5M SF Leasing Momentum
Irvine Company recently expanded its San Diego team to meet growing demand. And since the beginning of the year, the company has leased nearly 1.5 million square feet throughout its 9 million-square-foot San Diego portfolio which includes workplaces in Del Mar Heights, La Jolla UTC, Mission Valley, Sorrento Mesa and downtown.
There are several factors driving the activity, officials said. Irvine Company is on the forefront of workplace wellness, implementing validated wellness protocols to help instill confidence at work. The company is also defining the future of work to support changing workstyles, enhancing outdoor workspaces and offering flexible lease options through its Flex Workspace+ program.
“Customers recognize the unrivaled value we offer, from our unique connection-inspiring amenities to our innovative design to our industry-leading team members who are dedicated to our customers’ success,” said John Turner, regional vice president, who will lead the expanded team. “Our customers consistently tell us our workplaces are destinations for connection and inspiration that people want to come to.”
In addition to Turner’s expanded role, the San Diego team now includes:
- Chris Gash, vice president of operations who most recently served Irvine Company’s Newport Beach customers
- Scott Diggs, vice president of leasing
- Roles were also expanded for Nicole Ramos and Madalyn Wariner, senior operations directors
