IREX Inks 32K-SF Downtown DC Lease

JLL facilitated over 225,000 square feet of leases at 1350 Eye Street, NW, in downtown Washington, DC. The latest tenant, the International Research and Exchange Board (IREX), leased 32,000 square feet, joining tenants such as Hollingsworth LLP, the Institute of International Education, the National Women’s Law Center, BASF Corporation, and Johnson & Johnson.

“The owner’s continued investment into the property has made it a sought-after, Class-A office building in DC, and it’s evident that companies are still very much interested in having an in-office presence for their employees. Aside from its ideal location, adjacent to the newly renovated Franklin Park, the building boasts a newly renovated state-of-the-art fitness facility, tenant lounge and expanded and renovated conference center delivering in 2025,” said Doug Mueller, executive managing director at JLL.

JLL’s Mueller, Kristen Mathis, and Thomas Myers represented the building, while CBRE’s Ben Plaisted and Greg Scheipers represented IREX.
