IOS Site Will House Movie Trailer Storage

Avison Young negotiated a five-year lease of a 6.28-acre land parcel for industrial outdoor storage use located at 9361 Glenoaks Blvd. in Sun Valley, a submarket within the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles.

Principal Patrick Barnes and VP Paul Clark, both based in Avison Young’s downtown Los Angeles office, and John DeGrinis of Newmark represented the ownership, a private investor. The tenant, D & L Studio Transportation, Inc. was represented by Darrin Nickerson of IDS Real Estate Group.

“D & L Studio Transportation is relocating from its former space in Burbank,” said Barnes. “Our team advised and worked closely with ownership to negotiate a lease that maximized value for this IOS site in the San Fernando Valley submarket with an established, solid credit tenant that will use the space for movie trailer storage.”

Barnes added that outdoor storage space is increasingly hard to find and that this site garnered a number of tours and offers from area users.

The property is well-located near Interstate 5 and the Burbank Airport, and proximate to Highway 170 and Interstate 210.
