Ionic Development Promotes Briana Pinheiro to Partner

Ionic Development Company has promoted Briana Pinheiro to partner, marking a significant expansion of the Boston-based firm’s women-led leadership team. With more than 15 years of experience leading complex commercial real estate projects, Pinheiro brings a rare combination of technical expertise, strategic vision and community-first values to Ionic’s continued growth across New England, the company said.

Pinheiro has led real estate projects totaling more than five million square feet and valued at more than $750 million. Her portfolio includes a wide range of asset types, and her leadership was pivotal in Ionic’s successful bid for Parcel 5 in Providence’s I-195 District.

“Briana’s leadership and expertise have been instrumental in our success,” said Kaitlin McCarthy, founder and CEO of Ionic Development Company. “As Partner, she will play a key role in further strengthening Ionic’s commitment to innovative, community-focused development.”
