Investors Drink in Well-Located Wine Country Multifamily Assets

A local investment firm recently purchased Marlow Apartments located at 3076 Marlow Rd. in Santa Rosa for $27 million. The nine-building 116-unit apartment complex totaling 85,920 square feet was built in 1984.

The property sits on a 277,477 square foot lot, encompassing 6.37 acres. Amenities include 222 parking spaces, on-site swimming pool, spa, clubhouse and recreation room.

Dan McGue with Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT represented both the buyer and seller in the transaction.

“Marlow Apartments is situated in the heart of both the North Bay Area’s Wine Country and Redwood Coast, one of Northern California’s most picturesque locations. Despite 12 months of changing market conditions, well-located multifamily properties with the right mix of units are attractive to a variety of investors. This property garnered immense interest in an unprecedented real estate market, with multiple offers due to its low-density, large open spaces and prime location in Sonoma County,” said McGue.
