Invesco Pays $82.3M for Fully-Leased Buford Retail Center

Invesco Real Estate acquired a 317,301-square-foot retail space across from the Mall of Georgia in Buford. Washington Prime Group sold the asset, Georgia Crossing, for $82.3 million. JLL Capital Markets’ Jim Hamilton, Brad Buchanan and Andrew Kahn led the Investment Sales and Advisory team representing the seller in the transaction.

The retail center was fully leased at the time of purchase. Tenants include TJ Maxx, Home Goods and Target, which are anchor tenants on a roster that also includes Nordstrom Rack, Best Buy, Hobby Lobby, Staples, Cavender’s, Ulta Beauty, CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks.

Completed in 1999 at 3205 Woodward Crossing Blvd., Georgia Crossing consists of six one-story buildings across a 30-acre site.

Georgia Crossing is just off Buford Drive and Woodward Crossing Boulevard, which sees traffic from almost 140,000 vehicles daily.
