InvenTrust Snags 186K Eldorado Marketplace, Pays $71M
InvenTrust Properties Corp. struck a deal with Fidelis Realty Partners to acquire the 186,068-square-foot Eldorado Marketplace, in the North Texas city of Frisco. The Downers Grove, IL buyer paid $71 million for the retail center, which is in the far north Dallas suburb’s Market Street retail development. The seller ended its five-year hold with the sale.
Located at 5110 Eldorado Pkwy., at the Dallas North Tollway and Eldorado Parkway, Eldorado Marketplace’s tenant base focuses on retailers and restaurants including AT&T, Jersey Mike’s Re/Max, Raising Cane’s, PetSmart and UPS. Fellowship Church will open a new location in 60,000 square feet, which formerly held a Gander Mountain store.
“The acquisition of Eldorado Marketplace expands our footprint in the attractive Frisco market and provides significant opportunities for future revenue growth,” said InvenTrust’s Stephen Snodgrass.
In a separate transaction, InvenTrust paid $52 million for a 56,220-square-foot Trader Joe-anchored shopping center in Rockville, MD.
