InvenTrust Names Northwood’s Black to Board, Promotes SVP David
Retail REIT InvenTrust Properties has named Northwood Securities’ Amanda Black to its board, while promoting SVP Christy David (pictured) to EVP. The two executive moves “further enhance our governance, corporate oversight and commitment to diversity across all levels of the company,” said board chairperson Paula Saban.
Black serves as a managing director at Northwood, a privately-held real estate investment advisory firm, and will bring considerable experience in global real estate research and investments to InvenTrust’s board.
David joined the REIT in 2014, and has served as “an important legal, corporate, and strategic advisor and liaison between the board and management,” said InvenTrust CEO Thomas McGuinness. She’s continuing in her roles as general counsel and corporate secretary.
As of this past March 31, InvenTrust owned and managed 81 retail properties, representing 14.2 million square feet.
