65-story Intracorp tower gets Austin P & Z approval

Intracorp Gets City OK for Downtown Austin Mixed-Use Tower

Intracorp Homes has received Austin Planning Commission approval to move ahead on its mixed-use tower project. The company is proposing to develop Conrad Residences Austin. The estimated cost of the development is $235 million.

The mixed-use, 65-story building will consist of 125 condominiums above a 330-room Hilton Conrad Hotel with 9,621 square feet of retail and associated residential parking. The residences portion of the project will be located on floors 39 – 65. The hotel and retail below it.

The project is currently in review for a site development permit, along with an administrative review for the city’s Downtown Density Bonus Program.

The Austin office of Kimley-Horn, led by Project Engineer Harrison Hudson, and Austin-based landscape architects Hitchcock Design Group are on board the project.
