The Bryant at Yorba Linda was bought by the Interstate Equities Corporation

Apartment Complex Sale Sets Record in Yorba Linda

There’s big, and there’s record-setting big. The largest sale price for Yorba Linda/Anaheim clocks in at $205.5 million for The Bryant at Yorba Linda. The buyer, Interstate Equities Corporation, is the new owner of the 400-unit garden-style community. Northmarq Managing Director Shane Shafer acted on behalf of the buyer.

The property last changed ownership in 2015, when Resource REIT acquired the asset from AvalonBay Communities for $118 million, according to’s records.

Located at 25550 River Bend Dr., the transit-oriented community is two miles north of Calif. Rt. 91, connecting it directly to Orange County, Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. 

Recreational activities are also nearby, including the Green River Golf Club and the Box Canyon Park, are within two and a half miles of the property, according to a news release (and Google Maps).

The Bryant’s sale marks Shafer’s second Orange County transaction in the past 12 months, following last year’s $160-million sale of Jefferson Platinum Triangle.
