InterServ Leads Way on El Paso Renovation

InterServ LP, a Los Angeles hotel renovation company, has been hired to lead the $70 million restoration of the former Camino Real Hotel in downtown El Paso, TX. The Meyers Group, a Miami real estate development company, acquired the 105-year-old hotel at 101 S. El Paso St. in October 2016.

The hotel, renamed Hotel Paso Del Norte, will be franchised as a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel. Renovation work began in mid-June 2017, with completion scheduled for May 2018.

The project will redo 344 guest rooms and add a state-of-the-art gym. Also on the schedule are restoration of the lobby, dome bar, lounge areas, outdoor courtyard and more. A steakhouse restaurant will also be added.

“The Hotel Paso Del Norte is a beloved historical landmark in Downtown El Paso, and restoring a property like this requires diligence and commitment,” Stuart Meyers, founder and CEO of the Meyers Group, said.
