Intersect Development Sells Greensboro Industrial Project to BentallGreenOak
Atlanta, GA-based based Intersect Development Group has finalized the sale of its 475,935-square-foot Class A cross-dock logistics facility in the Greensboro, NC submarket of Whitsett. BentallGreenOak acquired the asset.
The Konica Drive building sits directly on I-85 and I-40 and represents Intersect’s first major project. It was completed in February of this year; Duke Energy of the Carolinas has signed as a primary tenant.
“We were very specific in choosing this I-40 / I-85 corridor as the location for our very first project,” said Intersect Development Group founder Scott Brown. “The corridor from Charlotte through Greensboro to Raleigh has seen consistent population growth over the last decade and we believe the macro environment will continue to be a catalyst for strong growth.”
Intersect’s additional projects in development include a phase II in Greensboro, NC, a phase II in Huntsville, AL, new developments in Gastonia, NC and a multi-phase project outside Orlando, FL.
