Internacional Realty closed on a two-complex, 536-unit apartment portfolio in the San Antonio area. The local buyer cut a deal with seller Greystar Real Estate Partners for Avana Grove in Universal City and Avana Stone Canyon in San Antonio.

ARA Newmark brokered the transaction.

• Avana Grove at 11801 E. Loop 1604 N is situated on 21 acres, and opened in 2006. Amenities include resort-style pool and playground, laundry facilities, basketball court, clubhouse and a pet park.
• Avana Stone Canyon is situated on 18.6 acres at 21302 Encino Commons. The property opened in 2005, and on-site amenities include a fitness center and resort-style pool with a cabana and deck, outdoor kitchen, resident clubhouse with internet café and multimedia library.

Greystar owned the two assets for five years. The Charleston, SC seller had acquired both complexes from Inland American Real Estate Trust Inc. as part of 14-property national portfolio.
