Insurer Expands to 25K SF at Resnick’s One Seaport Plaza

Jack Resnick & Sons finalized a five-year lease renewal and expansion with Seneca Insurance Company at One Seaport Plaza, Resnick’s office tower located at 199 Water St. in the Financial District. A wholly owned subsidiary of Crum & Forster, Seneca will relocate from 5,413 square feet on the eighth floor to 8,882 square feet on the 29th floor and will commit to another five years, for a total footprint of 25,178 square feet.

Resnick said the expansion builds on its leasing momentum at One Seaport, where it recently secured an extension with Seaport Entertainment Group, along with new leases with Foster Garvey, Forte Capital Group, Brownstone Agency and Accounting & Compliance International.

Jack Resnick & Sons was represented by an in-house team of Brett Greenberg and Adam Rappaport and by John Cefaly, Ethan Silverstein, Stephen Bellwood and Rachel Rosenfeld of Cushman & Wakefield. Eddie Sisca and David Opper of CBRE represented United States Fire Insurance Company on behalf of Seneca.
