Insurance Broker Claims 70K SF at Brookfield DTLA Tower

Lockton signed a 70,000-square-foot lease at Brookfield Office Properties’ 777 South Figueroa, a 52-story, Class A building in DTLA. The world’s largest privately-held independent insurance broker’s Pacific operation is relocating in February 2019 after 20 years at Ernst & Young Plaza. During that time, it has grown from 46 associates and annual revenues of $7 million, to more than 700 associates, eight offices, and annual revenues topping $185 million.

Lockton’s Timothy Noonan says, “Given the shifting landscape of today’s office use, the flexible, technology-centric design of our new Los Angeles office will foster greater connection, collaboration and innovation, which are key tenets of Lockton’s entrepreneurial culture.”

JLL’s Christina Noonan, Tony Morales and Maureen Hawley represented the tenant. Brookfield was represented in-house by John Barganski, Marin Turney, Rachael Zanetos and Ian Gilbert.
